About Me
Jessica grew up in Southeast Denver to two parents who are both educators. Her dad was a science teacher and her mom is a music teacher. Jessica grew up around music. With her mom running private piano lessons, she had the privilege of listening to her mom's clients perform pieces on the piano.
Jessica teaches violin and Suzuki Early Childhood Education (SECE) in Denver, with a passion for working with underprivileged communities and kids with special needs. Jessica volunteered with Denver Public Schools for three years offering free music instruction to students in need. She teaches early music education in preschools around Denver.
Jessica has performs with several local ensembles. She plays non-traditional genres as well as maintaining a classical music. She has played for several weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and other events around Colorado.
Jessica studied violin with Heather Stohl and Karen Kinzie. Their excellent instruction made it possible for her to continue her training at Principia College. At Principia College, she performed in the orchestra and went to Peru for Suzuki training. She became a certified Suzuki teacher after her experience in Peru.
During her free time, Jessica likes training her three rabbits and hiking in the mountains. She likes to read historical books and play softball in the summer.
